Really good idea but a lot was left unexplained, bearing that in mind it was longer than it needed to be. I think the author tried to include too much and it’s also difficult to do that in a murder mystery whilst simultaneously keeping the audience hooked - just didn’t work for me, it took a while for me to get invested and I’m not convinced that I actually was by the end of it. I’d even take off half a star on account of the author trying to convince us that if someone is fat then they are Bad

*Shifting to a 2.5 now I’ve had time to think about it*

I thought I'd love it, and I wish I'd loved it. I found it quite slow-going to start, when you, like Aiden, are trying to figure out what on earth is happening. The pace definitely picked up, but by then I'd lost momentum.
