Definitely unusual, curious. Difficult but rewarding read. I don't think I'm as advanced a reader as to read this properly.

I am very much into Kathy Acker and how she is able to write an entire book on sensation. I am big fan of the playwright Sarah Kane, so I am sort of at home in this experimental piece. I feel like I am bound to return to this novel and read more of her works. They are worth revisiting.

I do not recommend this book to everyone though. Stay away if you cannot handle a novel that will bite you constantly until you enjoy it. This book is kinky.

much much better than blood and guts in high school, still too hyper violent and i mostly skipped the beginning stuff because it just has so much sexual violence and i truly believe its pointless. BUT i do think there were moments of good writing and more interesting stuff & more sensitive, but nuanced rep of the pains of womanhood and patriarchy? still a bit of a miss tho! ?!
