The story line had so much potential but it just wasn’t executed well. Everything was so rushed and then it just ended?

3.75 Stars! ⭐️ (but rounded up to 4 stars because 3 stars felt wrong for this one)

I really liked the premise of this book but I really feel like the characters had soooo much more potential for development than we got. I have a feeling we are going to dive more into their backstories and their psyche in general in the next book (I hope!) but for the most part this book felt very surface level. There was also some repetitiveness, like a character literally repeating the same phrase over and over again a few pages later that I thought was a little strange. I definitely loved the beginning of this book and the ending cliffhanger was great! I still really liked this one though and thought it was a great quick read. I can’t wait to read the second one!

If you don’t mind being annoyed then its a book you should read. Male lead is just most infuriating thing in existence and not in a good way. Plot was good tho. Trials were interesting and i will read next book as soon as it’s released.

Wow. I’m literally giving this two stars because I really don’t want to give anything 1 star.

This was terribly written with undeveloped characters that had so much potential for a great storyline.

I guess they aren’t all meant to be winners.

Fun, aggravating, and exciting

I like that Sia is strong on her own, and making allies in unexpected places. I honestly hope she knocks some sense into Lore. Many parts felt important and significant to how the story will develop going forward.

Cool fae lore, it is a very fast and simple read. More fighting than kissing
