Cozy Mystery Goodness

This series is my first foray into cozy mysteries and I think I have found what is missing in my literary life.

I think I liked this book better than her first one. It was suspenseful, and yet again... you don't figure out who the murderer is until near the end. It's not predictable like a lot of mysteries, and it has a fun twist to it.

I liked this book. It wasn’t as good as the first it got really good and interesting towards the end.

These aren't getting any better. I like the characters, they are fun to follow, but the plot is just lacking. Much like the last book, Hannah stumbles on the murderer by them saying "you figured out I killed that person, so now I'll have to kill you" when in fact she has not figured it out, and appears to be trying hard to ignore the obvious. I like the goofy ones as much as the serious, but this is may be just a bit too paingfully goofy. I will read one more that is on my to-read list, which is much later in the series, in hopes that there is improvement. We'll just have to wait and see!

The ending was a little predictable, but the story was still good and entertaining.

If you love stories about detectives like Sherlock homes, you will love this series.

A regular citizen who owns a bakery knows how to be nosy in the right way.

It starts with the coach being murdered and the wife being the prime suspect since they learned he was beating on her.

Hannah didn’t believe it, upon following her clues she learns that the reporter of the city is found murdered. Now she needs to figure out how the 2 are connected.

She finds out the reporter was blackmailing people and she believed that is why she was murdered.

She finds out who the murderer is too late, again with her being held at gun point by the murderer.
