At this point I need financial compensation for the amount of money I spent on tissues to dry my tears!! 
I am not the biggest fan of the fake dating trope, but lordy, Cat had me eating those words in The Temporary Wife- I couldn’t get enough!!! I knew these two were going to be a wild ride at the end of book 1, but I was so pleasantly surprised by where Cat lead us. I cackled, I cried, I got butterflies, and most importantly I fell in love with the love that Lucca and Valentina❤️

He was the one Valentina had been waiting for but he'd been there all along. Ugh-I have such a soft spot for hyper-independent FMCs who slowly get their walls taken down by the men who completely ADORE and are obsessed with them! 🥹
