This series is brilliant! I love it so much! I wish that the fourth and final book was already out so I could start it. This is one of the best series I have ever read, and I truly believe that TJ Klune is a writing genius. He had me at the first word of the first book, and I have been hooked ever since.

Robbie has officially been crowned as the best boy and loveliest character of the series, he just gets better and better as the books pass by. Never been so glad to be confused in a book.

SpoilerAmnesia trope for the win (?

I dare say that this book is the best of the saga, as it focuses more on the romance than on the plot (I'll never stop saying that the villain is goofy af). The romance has always been the strongest/important point of the writing and the series in general, and it's a shame that this aspect was not given the same care or development in previous books

I loved that the main couple and internal conflicts were given the space they deserved. I dare say they are the most organic couple, with the best balance of angst and actual romance

But I'm conflicted about the abrupt change of direction right at the end. I mean, this is Robbie's book, but I feel like the actual closure of his story was left aside in favor of pushing a connection to the next book, and the conflicts of his life now that he's got his memories back and how he's going to integrate his current personality with the previous one weren't properly concluded

I may be petty with this, but I kinda felt bad when other people were asking for Robbie's well-being except for his partner reaching the end and then he moved on to comfort Kelly when he was the one that needed it the most after being through so much psychology and emotionally. My heart broke 😔

But this is a me problem. Overall, lovely read

This book was beautiful but so sad.   I love Kelly and Thomas' legacy.

Wow, after reading the previous two books in the series, I thought I knew what I was in for here. I thought this book would be similar to Ravensong, established characters, a bit of backstory, and moving the plot forward.

I wasn’t expecting to get about a third of the way through the book and be shocked by what was actually happening!

Spoiler

When the book begins, I thought we were getting Robbie’s backstory. I thought we would see how he first showed up at the Bennett’s. Then things start happening that didn’t make sense. Why was Dale around? The wolf infection was happening already? I loved the twist that it wasn’t the past after all! Robbie had forgotten everything. Brutal surprise for sure.

I loved this book overall, it was sad and funny and surprising in all the best ways while continuing to follow the characters you’ve gotten to know over the past couple books. Brilliant continuation overall, probably my second favorite in the series. Robbie, Rico, and Kelly absolutely shine here, I’ll miss hearing from them as much as the fourth book shifts to Carter’s perspective. I’ll absolutely pick up the last book in the series!

Every time! TJ Kyle manages to make me fall in love with characters I only mildly liked in the previous book!

Robbie’s story is told beautifully, and filled with all the tension, love, and pack pack pack of the previous two books. And made me want to rush right into the next book!

The premise of this book was also a unique twist to the series, and one I very much enjoyed. What a wonderful way to get to know Robbie, and to really emphasize how important our bonds really are.
