The “I hate her but I love her” dynamic got a bit repetitive at times, but this is a quintessential mafia romance that definitely scratched my dark romance itch. Full of pining, spice, and several unhinged moments, I was definitely entertained.

I was very hyped for this book but I missed something from this. I'm not even sure what. He also seems to still be in love with his dead wife and that really isn't something I like to read about.
