Mhairi always takes me on a journey of emotions. I have to say I was devastated and happy and angry all at once.. A real glass case of emotions! The takeaway from this is don't judge a situation base on rumors. The story could be totally different from what one thinks. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I never met you by Mhairi is one of my favourite books - one that I devoured in a couple of days. This was marketed exactly the same way which meant that I spent all 410 pages patiently waiting for a romantic steam fest that never arrived. This is, unfortunately, not a romance book.

Mhairi McFarlane writes gripping books with heart, about finding yourself again. Cannot wait to read more.

I did not know what to expect. This book was funny, happy, heartbreaking, devastating, and then empowering. I really enjoyed this more than I expected.

I think it would have been better had there been less focus on the side characters. they kind of took away from the central story line
