Gorgeous, charming, fun and funny; and some of the depictions of the villains are genuinely creepy, so it’s winner for me.

It was so delightful to revisit Sailor Moon, since she was a big part of my childhood. I wasn’t disappointed.

The translation notes in the back explaining what CDs and VHS tapes are… that made me feel ANCIENT though. 💀🤣

Mixed feelings: enjoy the story and the characters but dislike the oversexualization of very young girls. Pretty creepy. If you read them, definitely get the Eternal editions: much prettier.

Wow, I definitely did not pick up on how queer Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is back when I was a kid. I mean, I'd heard about Sailors Uranus and Neptune being straightwashed in the westernized editions, but wow. Praise be to our bi icon Sailor Moon and her sapphic girl gang.
