This is a really beautiful story about the ties that bind us and bring us together. We are all interconnected, and whether or not we know it, we can have an impact on other people.

This was a quick and easy read, but it was deep and meaningful. It gave me a lot of insight into what it means to be an immigrant, especially the child of one, and feel like both and insider and outsider.

I wish it had a traditional happy ending, but in some ways it still was a happy ending. They made an impact on each other’s lives. Both Natasha and Daniel were changed by the day they spent together. And who knows where the epilogue takes them. Maybe they do live happily every after in the way I hope.

A really, really cute story about love that really represents for those that are highly overlooked. (being able to see yourself in a character is one of the most beautiful things)

I loved the way this book was structured - it was an interesting concept having chapters to gain an insight into the lives of somewhat random characters or a brief history on some events. However I found the actual love story a bit weak and cringey. It’s a good if you are in the mood for a quick, lighthearted love story.
Maybe there is such thing as “love at first sight”…
