This story starts right where book one ends and bam! there is hotness! Thank goodness because I can’t get enough Sean and Avery.
There are a lot of ups and downs in this story where things don’t go as planned. I feel bad for Avery but she works to get things back on track and keep her head on straight even though it’s a crazy situation. Sean is still dark and brooding but I felt like I got to see a more playful and sexy side in this second story. In the middle of everything there is a really fun, lighthearted scene and I absolutely loved it!
Avery's roommate Amber is a piece if work. She had a bit more interaction in this story and I really wanted to smack her. I loved that there was more Mel and Marty, I like their characters.
There was lots of hotness. I thought there first time together was perfect and Sean was sweetheart. I just want to peel back all those layers and know more.
There’s another crushing cliffhanger. I’m just going to assume that there will be one with every book so I don’t freak out at the end of each one. Sean is so complicated and I wish he'd open up and talk to Avery about his demons.
I’m officially addicted to this series. I love H. M. Wards style of writing, it totally draws you in!

Nope nope nope, I was prepared to continue giving this serie a chance but that scene where he makes her take her clothes off and touch herself when she clearly isnr confortable was triggering and not adressed at all so i had to put the book down. Hit way too close to home. I wont be continuing this serie.

I love Sean and I like Avery. I'm dying to know where they and up and how. I like how the story and all characters and their emotions seem very real.

Wow. These characters are really messed up. But their story is addicting! I'll definitely be reading the next one, but I may wait a little bit. I miss Peter and Sidney. :(

Ok, so it got better. I have a hard time not finishing a series when I start it, especially since I have all the books now.

Meh. More of the same, and extension of the first book, should just be in one.
