Usually I would give a Alice Oseman book 5 stars automatically, but this is the one exception. Why does Nick take Charlie so seriously when he's so drunk???

Very sweet addition to the Heartstopper storyline. A good book for a train ride.

I can’t explain it but I kind of felt this novella underwhelming but I appreciated showing some realism since couples do fight from time to time. It was just alright, though.

I have never read the original—I read the revised edition from 2020–but even without knowledge of how that read, I found the way Tao and Elle’s breakup/getting back together poorly handled. You find out they broke up and then a few chapters later via a text Tao sends, he tells Charlie they’re getting back together. I love Elle and Tao in the comics/show and understand the fan service but I feel like keeping together was a mistake. I think it would’ve been nice to know that they broke up but stayed friends or something like that. Idk, it just didn’t make much sense to me and them making up felt out of the blue.
