3 1/2 stars really. This was my least favorite book in the series so far, but still a good story. The whole story had a really dark sense of foreboding that was tough to plunge through. On to the next one!

Second time reading this one, and I completely forgot how strong this story is. I didn’t like Frank when we met him in “The Likeness”, but I found his narrative complex and likable in his own story. Undercover solves murder is fun!
