This was just a “meh” read for me. I found it because I searched for audiobooks narrated by Christian Fox, and he’s probably why I finished. I was bored by quite a bit of the plot. It was narrated well, and I did appreciate there was no ridiculous angst between the hero and heroine.

This book was okay. Pretty basic, I didn’t really connect with the characters, the kids were cute though. But the main conflict was kinda dumb.

Earlier this summer, I fell in love with Andy while devouring the Cranberry Inn Series and Viper's Heart. Andy is a single dad, the best friend, and an overall good guy that melted my heart. I couldn't wait to finally have his story. I enjoyed this book, but didn't love as much as the other books featuring Brody, Viper.

What I adored most in this book was the relationship between Andy and his kiddos. He's such a caring dad. Like any parent, he has moments of imperfections and his struggles as a single working father tugged on my heart strings. However, you never doubt his devotion and love for his children.

Danicka is a tough heroine and makes a perfect addition to the Cranberry family. I appreciate how she is career focused and intelligent. Her interactions with the kids are also priceless. She appears to be the perfect balance for Andy, but the actual buildup of their relationship was a little flat. I didn't feel the emotional pull that was so prevalent with Brody and Viper's books. Sometimes it felt as if I was being told about events instead of experiencing them through Andy or Dani's eyes. Also, I liked the suspense element, but the person/s involved didn't feel believable, despite the explanations.

Even with a few flaws, this is a solid addition the Cranberry family. I loved seeing Brody, Kacie, Viper, Michelle, and all the kiddos. I am crossing my fingers there are more books in the future. I can't get enough of these characters and recommend The Cranberry Inn Series and connected books to any romance fan.

**Thank you to Montlake Romance and NetGalley for my advanced copy of this book in exchange for my review.**

I received a copy of this book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Andy Shaw is a single dad and a successful sports agent. In order to spend more time with his family, he hires Danicka Douglas as a new sports agent for his firm. Romance ensues just as a stalker threatens Danicka's safety.

I read this book quickly. I had the entire plot figured out at the halfway point, but I still wanted to see how the author unveiled it. It was well-written and the characters were charming. It's nice to see responsible parents, particularly single dads, as characters in romance novels.
