I read this book to match the 'cosy mystery' prompt in one of my reading challenges. I'll admit, I had to look up what a cosy mystery was, so this is not a genre that is part of my regular rotation. Aspects of this book were a bit predictable or bluntly done, and the author had a weird habit of referring to side characters by their full names - it was a bit weird and jarring. That being said, this was an otherwise satisfying read - a bit fluffy but enough of a plot to hook the reader in to find out who the murderer was and why they did it.
Moderate: Death and Murder
Minor: Gun violence and Grief
