Mitch Album did it again!!!!!!! I absolutely love this author. Even though his books have a lot of sad elements, his stories are always so touching and beautiful. His book ‘for one more day’ was the first and only summer reading book I ever enjoyed.
This book….. so beautiful. I listed to the audiobook narrated by the author and the ending made me bawl my eyes out, out of both sadness and joy. 10/10 book and 10000/10 author

It's the sequel to "The five people you meet in heaven". It follows the little girl Eddie saved on the pier. The main character has a lot of challenges in her life and after death a lot of it is explained with the other person's perspective. It has a beautiful twist ending and the story is really beautifully told.
Minor: Alcoholism, Bullying, Cancer, Death, and Toxic relationship

This struck me as very true. An amazing sequel that *also* ripped up my heart and sewed it back together a little kinder, with more understanding of life, eternity, and divinity.

Moderate: Alcoholism, Animal cruelty, Bullying, Child death, Physical abuse, Medical content, Medical trauma, Death of parent, and Pregnancy
