The smallest person of the household is currently taken with owls, and chose this from the library.

I appreciate that the story educates the audience about the diet of the powerful owl (and other native creatures). The art is pleasant, and the smallest person in the household was happy to listen to the story.

Read this because I thought the illustrations were super cute, and it turned out to be a story about ecology and a bit of climate change and a bit of why some animals shouldn't go vegetarian. Huh.
