Sweary history that takes responsibility for all the things we Brits like to gloss over? 10/10 no notes.

Very funny, the audiobook is super quick and the narrator has a way of making the words even funnier. Very informative too!

I don't often read a lot of non fiction but I picked this up a while back as a Kindle deal and actually, it was pretty fun. it's very accessible, split into nice small chunks and written in a very amusing way - it's true, by the way, us Brits were Bellends.

This book is hilarious, more so because the deadpan way in which Matt delivers it works well for the topic.

Was a great short read, informative and interesting.

We really were bellends during our history.

Well written and insightful - very uncomfortable read but very informative! James Felton writes in a relatable way that makes you laugh and makes history come alive!

The best history book I have ever read. This was truly laugh out loud funny from the first page to the last.
It pulled no punches on the truth and I LOVE how blunt it was about, let’s be honest, how much of a proper bellend Britain has been through the ages.
This was a 100% 5* book throughout, cannot recommend enough.
