I wanted to love this, even though I thought Every Day should have ended more cleanly, without need of a sequel. While this book answered some questions, it did so mostly by engaging its main characters in long discussions full of either pontification, platitudes, or overly mature statements for teenagers to make. It got less enjoyable as the book went on and the talking grew longer.

I was just... so bored this entire book. This sequel did not need to exist. Hence why it took me a couple of years to actually read it.

A good follow up that did tie up some loose ends and questions I had from the first book. It’s also been years since I read the first book, but didn’t feel lost at all.

Spoilers: I was a little disappointed that we never really found out what A is, and how A became the way they are. That’s honestly the main question I hoped this book would answer. However I guess that goes more into a science fiction/fantasy realm then the book wanted to go.

Was ein tolles Buch!

I enjoyed this book, as I enjoyed the series. But the ending was not too satisfying to me. I won't go into detail to avoid spoilers, but there were still many unanswered questions. I understand that the ending makes you curious, and the author makes you think of different possibilities, but I couldn't see A's character development too much at the end.

I liked this better than Another Day for sure. It gave some context on what A is and there are some people who are like him as well.
