Wow, I have no idea why this has such a high rating because as far as I'm concerned it's a hot mess.

Let's start with the premise. June's dad wants to buy Kase's family farm. Kase says he'll sell it if June will spend 2 weeks with him. Neither family objects at all. But when it somehow occurs to June's dad that she's having sex with Kase (duh!) he rushes over and calls her a whore. Um, if anything he's the one pimping her out so the deal will go through. And then we have parental secrets on both sides, virginity, a H into BDSM, 2nd chances, insta-love, a farm going through tough times, and a hotel expansion. All in the space of about 5 hours. It's just all over the place!

This was a really sweet read and a fantastic second chance romance.Juna and Kase are both from a small town and while Kase went away for college June has never left. She always had a crush on him and they shared a kiss before he left, now he's back and determined to prove to her they can have something good.I just loved the chemistry between these two this was such a sweet book.

Normally, I’m a fan of the books in this series. Not so much this one. There needs to be a fine line between just enough sex and so much sex that you can’t even find the storyline. I found myself skimming over the every other page sex-scapades to get through the premise of the story. Too much effort if you ask me.

This book is a good fit for readers looking for a slow-paced, emotional contemporary romance set in a small town, with a focus on second chance love and the challenges of family businesses.

This story focuses on June and her previous relationship with Kase. It also shows that June will do whatever it takes to try and expand on the hotel her father owns. This includes spending time with Kase as part of a deal that he has arranged. In this deal he askes for June to spend time on his farm and get to know both him and the land they are trying to buy.

I felt the characters were unlikable and the story rushed in the wrong places. The first time they do the dirty was laughable and unbelievable. You would think since it is her first time, she might show some sort of physical pain and he might take it a little slower. Nope. It felt amazing for her and he just pounded into her like he was hammering nails. Sorry, but it just wasn't a good read for me.

I went into reading this book completely blind, the only thing I knew about it was the fact that I have enjoyed every Meredith Wild book I have read. This book was not what I excepted however I am glad that I picked it up, it was a refreshing read.

ugh, virgin books.

Misadventures of a Virgin made me a bit hesitant to dive into it. Virgin books are kind of a hit or miss with me. Yeah, people are virgins out in the world.. but they way they are written about it books can sometimes rub me the wrong way.

This also kind of gave me Romeo and Juliet vibes - so I was down for the ride. In it, you will meet Kase and June. They were kind of cute but they also annoyed me. Or maybe it was just their family? Well these two had a "forbidden" romance which of course means.. they are going to do exactly the opposite of what they were told.

Sparks definitely flew between these two. It was also kind of cute that years later they still had their eyes set on one another. So, it was pretty easy to root for these two. Kase and June were made for each other (if you want to go down the route). One didn't really power over the other - they both had their opinions and one hell of a backbone. They were definitely equal in this relationship which is probably why I loved them and it so much.

Overall, the ending was cute and made me happy. I can't wait for the rest of the series to be available!
