Nice development of the characters introduced in the first novel, however, the story line does not develop the sci/fi elements of Lock In and instead falls back on the fairly cliche formula of the crime/mystery novel.

Don't know why it took me so long to finish this, as I really liked reading it --or maybe that's just why...

I really enjoy this series, not just the world that Scalzi has created, but the story lines themselves.

Really interesting how those with "locked in: syndrome interact with the world, and with the virtual environment that is their "home base".

Will continue reading as long as he keeps putting them out.

This is my favorite Scalzi book I've read so far. And I missed the 1st book in the series! He created this really interesting world with deeply fascinating ethical questions but it doesn't read as preachy or prescriptive. Great mystery as well.
