I enjoyed this continuation of the Glass and Steele series. I don't normally enjoy mysteries, but I'm liking this series. In this book, I sometimes felt like there was too much talking and not enough action, but I like the characters.

I need an easy distraction at the moment and this series seems like it will work very well. I snort every time India revels in Matt's scent (exotic spices, anyone?), and this book was sadder and slightly more complicated than the first, but it's engaging, the characters are likable, the plots is twisty but understandable, and it's a light, easy and enjoyable read - I read this book in a couple of hours this afternoon. There's still murder, assault, and so forth, but it's not really on the page.
