A very cheesy, collection of Christmas themed "romances".
*I received this book complimentary of Forever.

What a lovely collection of novellas this is, each a heartwarming and easy to read story. I enjoyed each of the authors' writing and three of them were new to me, I'll be sure to check out more of their work. Christmas spirit is sprinkled throughout this book. My romantic heart fell in love with each of the characters and I easily connected with them. Christmas, romance, sweet and charming characters, cowboys - what more could I ask for!

Novellas are either a hit or miss for me. This quartet did pretty well for entertainment and holiday cheer. However, none of these stories stood out to me and caused me to make any real connections. It is just four cute stories set around Christmas, but there was no depth.
Christmas stories are fun, and I liked these just fine. I also love the country theme and it added more enjoyment for me. I just could not find myself wanting to pick up this book easily. It was there, but I wasn’t rushing to read the book. Perhaps this will work better for someone who likes just reading these casually but since I read these books at all once, it did not work for me.
Definitely good for the holiday and country romance fans.
Thank you NetGalley and Forever for the ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This collection was fine, but possibly just not for me. I enjoy small towns and Christmas, but I didn't care for some of these. Rochelle Aers' one, the one I most look forward to was the hardest to get into. And two of the four stories are about rediscovering holiday spirit, which feels so cliche. I did really like the first story and Landon and Dixie bonding over her little girl though. That one is a keeper.

I gave each story in this collection 4 stars! Each one was a joy to read, and each a little different from the other. I am sad to see the Longhorn Canyon series come to a close in the first story, but I am excited to see what else Brown has in store for us!
This was also my first time reading anything by Rochelle Alers, and I really enjoyed their writing! Will definitely be looking into their backlist.
Ramsay and Pine came at us with great stories in their small towns also, and it was such a treat to experience them all in this collection.

A Little Country Christmas is a collection of four stories. It’s full of cute, cosy, Christmas stories that are perfect to read in one sitting. It contains a little something for everyone and I particularly enjoyed A Cowboy Christmas At Heart by A.J. Pine.
