Less angst compared to the first book. I wanted to be interested in miles and zoe, but cat's part of the story was more interesting to me.
Overall, not bad but not exactly wow yknow.

forbidden romance and opposites attract…i was hooked. only issue i had was with the debt situation, as i think it could’ve been better explained and expanded on. other than that, this book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! can’t wait to read cat and dean’s story next!!

The Rebel by Sophie Lark has been one of my most anticipated books because I have always been intrigued by Miles & Zoe's story. When I finally got to read their story, I have to say that it's TOTALLY worth the wait. I can't even describe how much in love I am with the entire story because it reaches all the expectations that I was hoping for. Like seriously, I just love the chemistry & the connection between Miles & Zoe. They are a total opposite and yet they are perfect for each other. All their moments in this book are a total chef kiss, especially since they have to hide the relationship.

Overall, this book is enjoyable that literally got me hooked from the beginning till the end. Everything about this book brings out all the emotions outside of me. It was intense, captivating, angsty, emotional, steamy, and all other things. Therefore, I think Sophie has done a brilliant job in delivering their story because everything was well written. I highly recommend for everyone to try out this book, especially if you're a fan of forbidden romance trope.
