My least favourite book out of them all, the good part of the book did t happen until it was nearly over with and by that time I was over the book.

Neither characters really progressed until practically the epilogue when it could have happened sooner. I didn’t feel the falling in love was strong. The story in the college made non sense and didn’t add anything to the story.

Would be nice to hear about kids at the end. The kidnapping seems like stalking so not a trope I’m familiar with.

Definitely not my favorite in the Bridgerton universe. After reading the second installment in this prequel series I had such high hopes for this book and was disappointed. It's not that its bad, I just feel like so much more could've been done with the storyline. I really appreciate feminism and progressive thinking, but some of it felt a bit forced to me, maybe I'm just too hyper-focused on realism in a little romance novel that's just for fun. I do like the two main characters a lot though, Nicholas is a wonderful man and Georgie has just the right amount of spunk, they truly were made for eachother. I wish we got more flashbacks to their childhood memories, but then again I guess they really weren't anything special to each other back then, no more than friends at least.
