This was a hard book to read, but it was important to understand how women are core and help grow hate movements. It's also good to know about how these people recruit to hate groups and make these things appealing even when it's not really a socially accepted position to have.

Great book that offered both stories from a few women at varying stages of white nationalism in the twenty teens and historical context. She doesn't shy away from self reflection, but makes it about the women and not white guilt. Also I like that she provided actual follow up. Some NF writers kinda shrug at the end of the book and though this one will not leave you feeling good you don't feel all the way hopeless. She does this without disillusionment that these actions will make white nationalism go away.

Only issues is I wish there was a TW on language in audiobook form, but then again maybe some white women need to hear it so *shrugs*. I know I should have expected it but damn. Another thing is I prefer that chapters were names so I can reference it later. Both issues didn't warrant a less than 4.75 stars though.
