This is a fascinating rundown of the 33 rules that you need to understand to succeed in business and life. It’s insightful and often brutally honest, a mix of memoir and business advice. Bartlett doesn't shy away from discussing his failures and the lessons he learned along the way, so it’s not just about business success but also about personal growth.
He’s open about his mental health struggles, imposter syndrome, and the relentless drive that both fuelled and then nearly derailed his success —it’s a real, relatable story of ambition, resilience, and the reality of chasing big dreams. I’d say it’s a take on what it really means to be successful in today’s world. (For anyone who doesn’t want to read it but wants the précis, I did take some notes…)

I found this book to be an exceptional read for folks with limited time and it's format lends itself to learning the laws effectively through storytelling, reflection, and research. Being a fan of Steve's work on the podcast, I could perfectly hear his voice as if he were reading the passages to me and it felt extremely natural. I highly recommend this book if you are looking to improve in aspects of your life or business.
