I’m having the hardest time writing a review for these books. It seems the more I love a book the harder it is for me to form coherent thoughts that aren’t HOLY SHIT THIS BOOK SERIES IS AWESOME! I mean it’s concise, I guess.

The world building, the characters, the plot, the spice, the twists.. urgh. It’s all just *chefs kiss* perfection. If you want a truly phenomenal FMC, with hot as hell MMCs, with brilliant world building and an excellent plot - read these. Just read them. Truly. READ ‘EM. They’re so freaking good.

I loved them so much that the minute I finished them on my kindle, I bought the hardcovers and I’m already dying to re-read them. MJ is a truly phenomenal author, I’ve steadily worked my way through their catalogue this past few weeks and everything has been utterly amazing. Hurtling them right into my favourite ever authors. I can’t say enough good things about these books or indeed their entire catalogue. You wont regret picking them up.

This book made ZERO SENSE. I consider myself a connoisseur of high fantasy/mixed fantasy/dark romance and this book was such a mess.
The world barely made sense. The main characters had zero chemistry really. The sexual tension made no sense. The FMC’s relationship with everyone was just straight up traumatic but once again, made no sense.
The
fated mates shit. Like OK these two guys sensed her and were like OMG YES OUR MATE but don’t want to claim the bond cause then they can’t fuck other people even though she can? Isn’t the entire point of a mate that everyone wants each other and no one else??

And
the fact that Fae are the subservient race? Literal magic wielders but the fucking humans are in control? Just with their guns?

NOTHING MADE SENSE
