An intriguing, lyrical exploration of the lives and histories of various scientists, writers, and poets from Kepler to Maria Mitchell to Rachel Carson, among many others. I found it incredibly slow paced and needlessly tense in places where it drags out a foregone conclusion, but I appreciated the book's feminist and queer perspective.
