Borrowed this book via Prime on Amazon (read for free). Sometimes you get what you pay for. Maybe this book would be amazing and great if I knew who the characters were prior to reading it. But I felt like I was reading the middle of a series with no introduction/backstory/connection to any of the characters. It didn't make me want to go read more of the series. I barely even wanted to finish this one. I think a major part of why I did was solely because it was relatively short. Dunno if this is a great author with a great series, but I'd have to hear really loud recommendations before I'd go find out after only reading this. Bleh. :(
