This was a quick read. I enjoyed it. There wasn't a whole lot to the book, but what was there was decent. It was rather creepy, I will admit. Granted, I also don't like dolls very much and find them scary, so yeah.
Graphic: Mental illness, Kidnapping, and Stalking
Moderate: Death

The living doll trope is my favorite! I also like witches; so this book was definitely my kind of thing. An impulse buy at Walmart, the cover was the first thing that caught my eye. As an adult reader, the writing style was of course very childish to me, wasn't scary, and honestly not that great objectively, but I really liked the plot! I didn't expect the writing to be amazing or particularly unique considering it's a middle-grade book. I definitely would recommend it to someone of a younger audience, and for older people, you'll probably like it if you're into the creepy/living doll trope. But beware if you have a real fear of dolls!!
Minor: Death and Kidnapping
