I expected, and was tensed for, a third act breakup. I was so happy there wasn’t one. I loved this sweet but not too sweet romance where “enemies to lovers” isn’t enemies who hate each other, and doesn’t last long.

4.5/5.

This was an absolutely adorable story that I read in one sitting because it was just too cute to put down. I loved the characters both individually and how they all interacted together. Blaire was unapologetically herself and followed her own path without letting people push her around. And then Ronan was just a big, goofy, sweetheart. Their banter was so much fun and the picking on one another never seemed to get to be so over the top to the point it was annoying. I enjoyed watching their dynamic change as they got to know one another and fall for each other and the ending was just perfection.

Another thing I really loved about the story was Ronan's relationship with Gramps. They had such a tight bond and showed you how family should be there for one another and help them get through the rough times.

I could read a million stories about these characters because they were just so much fun to spend time with. Highly recommend this book and can't wait to read more from Helena Hunting!
