I Adored this, both sci-fi lovers, and people new to sci-fi should 100% pick this book up. The sarcasm and humour throughout is done spectacularly, espiecially in what is utlimately a dark-dystopian topic. Its a hard line to tread but Kate did it. I loved the main character Sil, who is no-nonsense and knows her mind and just gets done what needs done. The overall plot was so intriguing that i read this in a day as i just had to know what happened, and I'm so glad i did as the ending was phenomonal. I cannot wait for book 2!!
The concept of 'mindwalker' itseld and the associated technology and gear is really clever and i loved the wee 'throwbacks' to today's society too.
