I feel more confused with the second volume than I did with the first.

Things I liked:
Tony's original partner is back.
Chicken, even if is a fruit.
Enough questions to keep wondering without feeling that Layman isn't telling you anything.
The metacommentary was pretty awesome.
The vampire.
Things I didn't:
Tony and the bionic cop (sorry, don't remember his name) don't share much scenes together.
New characters but some dissapear pretty quickly.

More of the same! Still fun. More of the overarching plot revealed.

Finally, a comic book that lives up to the hype. This second volume is an absolute page-turner that exceeded my expectations; the new characters introduced are brilliantly crafted and the twists and turns in the story are very well thought out.
The Chew Universe is fascinating and full of surprises. John Layman and Rob Guillory set the bar very high with Chew Vol. 2, and I will keep my hopes very high for the next volumes, expecting them to dazzle me again and again.
