This is the first book that's actually made me sob!

The plot was good, story was great and one line would break you, the next would make you laugh. The family seemed so realistic, with inside jokes, some form of dysfunction, etc.

The only issue I had with it was as soon as things went south with her Grandma, everything came out as amazing and happy again. I get that a death can bring people together, and a birth, but it seemed a bit like everything is solved now that's happened.

Would still recommend.

i would’ve probably liked this book so much more if i was a divorced woman in my thirties,

still you can see the growth of tjr’s writing style and creativity with this and her later-published books

Not my favorite from Taylor Jenkins Reid. This year, she has become one of my all time favorite authors. He people always feel so real and human and I LOVE it. This one kept telling me things I already knew and the characters seems to spell out things more than they needed to and it really took me out of the story. Otherwise? I liked it a lot!
