3.5/5 stars! I really wish they would have finished the wedding scene.. but I guess the author had to leave SOMETHING to the imagination! I'm a little surprised this is marketed as YA because that one scene was pretty spicy for a YA novella! After a few chapters, Warner's attitude was getting a bit annoying, but it didn't bother me too too much because I understood he was coming from an intense background. Overall, I enjoyed this novella and I'm really sad that I am officially done with the Shatter Me series! Here's to hoping I don't get into a reading slump!! LMAO

This was a cute little novella from Warner's POV. It was very predictable and a little too long, but I enjoyed hearing Warner's inner thought and his interactions with The Dog and Kenji.
Last book of the series and Juliette still doesn't sit well with me. She just doesn't feel like a "natural" character? I can't describe it... How does she even know what to do with her mouth? Girl? Fresh 18, no former friends, sheltered AF, put in an asylum for at least a year, memories erased. Like... did they implant a chip and she just becomes a pro at...you know? I dunno it's weird and I don't like it or her. Sorry, J.
Also wanted to knock the rude people out, I get it, Warner is a dick. But these people don't know him and are invading his space -- leave this man alone! Also, you have no right to be calling him names and stuff, he doesn't even do that to you guys.
Quotes:
"I never got into this to heal the planet. I have never pretended to care about the future of our pathetic civilization, and if you ever took me for a revolutionary, that was your mistake. I see now that I have to make something clear so remember this: I would happily watch the world go up in flames if anything happened to her, and if that's not enough for you, you can go to hell." - Warner

I love that these characters get the happy ending they all deserved. My only issue was that Warner didn’t feel like Warner. He was so unsure of himself and almost weak. I love the confident, slightly arrogant but-in-charming way he is portrayed in previous books so this felt a little off for him. Overall though, I enjoyed the series and will come back to it in the future.

This is it. This is what healed me. As much as I wanted to see the aftermath of the world, I needed to see Aaron's POV of this day. Thank you so much, Tahereh Mafi, for creating these characters and this world.
I'll never forget this series.
Oh, and especially thanks for making Kenji and Aaron. Yeah, yeah, I warmed up to Aaron in the end.

So sweet to be able to read about their happy ending, although I think Juliette needs to learn that Warner isn’t the biggest fan of surprises. Like let’s cool it with the surprises pal.
