Spoilers ahead:

Maybe I’m really good at anticipating book plots, maybe this book was extremely predictable. I knew John was Dylan and Eric’s father as soon as they started bickering about their father’s finances, power, morals, etc. So the book was super unenjoyable as I could already see how things would unfold.

We never found out what happened to Amythest *for sure*.

The synopsis states the girls are treated like prisoners. I think any prisoner would trade places in a heart beat. I was expecting so much more than lack of wi-fi and having assigned seats at dinner.

It was a quick read, but kind of a waste of time?

that was GOOD. at first i didnt love the direction that the characters and story were headed in, but the twists near the end made a lot of things click into place. i can't say a whole lot without spoiling the book, but it was an addictive read. it shocks me that belle and summer were friends in the first place in all honesty, as they never seemed compatible (and it turns out they really weren't)

Not many likable characters, but with this kind of thriller I don’t need that. Found it quite engaging and it definitely had me rooting for the downfall of some of the heinous characters. Satisfactory ending. I found the main character to be frustrating at times but was still rooting for her.

Explosive twists, present & past timelines and a picturesque backdrop. It can’t get much better than that! I highly recommend that you run (don’t walk) to grab this juicy thriller! I devoured this read and loved every minute of it. If you’re looking for a quick read, Katherine St. John has you covered.

Couple of things:
▫️it started off fairly slow for me which is why I took .5 off my rating.
▫️I will recommend this to ANYONE
▫️it’s clever and fresh

Note: Read this if you’ve ever been on a girls’ trip or are planning one
