This book looks at some of the most important gods and goddesses from Egyptian culture as well as creatures (like cats) that played a large role in the mythology of that society. It also incorporates common core standards at the end of each chapter by asking the reader to think/evaluate/write, etc. about what they have read. This 48 page book contains some colorful photographs as well as reproductions of hieroglyphs and art, text boxes, a section of fast facts at the end of the book as well as a glossary, an index, several print resources and online resources for additional learning.
No photo or art credits given and I felt like text was a bit disjointed, not as cohesive as I would have liked. A basic intro to topic, however.
