I thought this one would be great and it was just kind of okay. I REALLY wanted to love it, I love a good sibling story, but it wasn’t enough. I know what Natalie did was right, and i also know why she feels like everything is her fault, even if it wasn’t. She gives me a little whiplash with how quick everything she “wants” in life changes. I wanted to see the relationships develop and it just wasn’t there. There’s more of a romance story in here than a story about family, which really turned me off. Also I normally can’t stand kids as side characters but her nephew is the best character in this book. The brother doesn’t show up until the very end, he should have been there sooner and the three siblings should have been rebuilding their relationship, that’s the book i would have enjoyed. Instead he shows up and is basically like, “i don't blame you, I’ve worked through that” and he’s thriving in life but he hasn’t tried to contact her and tell her that for 15 years?  The premise seemed good, the execution was lacking.
