this book took sooooo long to get going and its primarily told through harrowhark’s perspective, so i spent the first 250 pages just wishing gideon would reappear. however just like the first book, plot elements began happening around the halfway point that got me rlly interested and i was super into it by the end. this book made me really like harrow the same way i loved gideon in the first book. also some of it was kind of corny and silly when it was supposed to be serious.
