I loved it! I’m very amazed by how this book was written and how much I enjoyed the story. Every time I finished a chapter I wanted to keep reading. I felt very attached to the characters, even with the monster of Frankenstein, who wouldn’t be? He was very human. You never expect what is going to happen because is very different from what has been seen in the movies. The book is way better! I think it has become my favorite book so far and an example of what I look in a story.

I had never read this book before or even really knew of the story besides what I’ve seen in pop culture. I appreciate what this book has given us content wise (young Frankenstein, rocky horror, etc.) but the book itself was a little boring to me. I also think I lack an appreciation for the classics, so I hope no one is deciding what to read based off my reviews. Anyway Victor, bit of a drama queen! Overall the book was okay just not what I expected (I guess I expected more horror?) and I do love the content that has come from this book, just not crazy about the book itself.

I did really enjoy how this book had poetic language compared to other books I have read. I did also get a bit confused sometimes. My plan is to reread this book in the future anyway.

Uh, Victor, methinks you have a projection problem.

This entire book is like a Jungian parable on the importance of eating your goddamn shadow.

Loved it. Except for the fact that Victor never learns. ARGH.
