I know this work is p dated but I didn't anticipate the amount of slurs used in it, so fair warning.

I think the story brought an interesting angle to coming out, and about how you can feel isolated from your community/marginalized identities. And sometimes you think you know someone (maybe even for years!), think they are accepting and then they react in an awful way, which was an idea I really resonated with. A couple comedic cuts got a laugh out of me, too.

Honestly tho there was some of "I'm not THAT kind of flamboyant gay person" coming through and it gave me a bit of an ick. There's not that much feeling or depth given to anyone minus like 3 central characters, and the ending was sorta sweet? But felt a little lacking.

Overall I'll keep trying to read different things like plays but I felt like this one just wasn't doing it for me.
