EU AMEI MUITO ESSE LIVRO! O plot perfeito com twist surpreendente, a backstory das habilidades dela/treinamento, Sam e arobynn, saber mais sobre o continente :’) adorei a leitura e achei que esse foi particularmente mais poético do que os outros!! Algumas frases foram bem clichês mas amei vários parágrafos, aqui vão alguns dos meus favoritos:
“If you can learn to endure pain, you can survive anything. Some people learn to embrace it—to love it. Some endure it through drowning it in sorrow, or by making themselves forget. Others turn it into anger. But Ansel let her pain become hate, and let it consume her until she became something else entirely—a person I don’t think she ever wished to be”
“As the memory of that day echoed through her, she remembered the words Sam kept screaming at Arobynn, as the King of the Assassins beat her, the words that she'd somehow forgotten in the fog of pain: I'll kill you! Sam had said it like he meant it. He'd bellowed it, again and again and again...”
“She ran when she could and walked when she couldn't, but the sun rose higher and higher, toward that dangerous noontime peak. Up one hill, down the other. One foot in front of the next. Bright flashes flitted across her vision, and her head pounded.

Re-read 2018:
The twist in Celaena’s and Ansel’s friendship gets me every time. A part of me wish that Ansel didn’t turn out to be “evil” but another part of me likes the way it portrays how differently she handled her sorrow compared to Celaena. Does that make sense? Probably not.
Either way this is a great novel and I definitely recommend it.
