Tenía ganas de leer un libro que tuviera el mar como escenario principal, y este cumplió.

La confesión?? West?? El pelo de Fable?? La portada?? El found family?? spectacular give me 14 of them right now

After ACOSF and Addie LaRue this was exactly what I needed. Fable is beautiful and lyrical and gripping oh I loved it so much. How could I not, when I love things like Pirates of the Caribbean and To Kill a Kingdom ❤️

Tbh I did expect the book to be longer and more epic, but it turned out to be quite "simple". I don't know how to put it. But I can see how a more critical reader would be annoyed with the relatively shallow characters etc. I didn't have time to care about that, I just kept turning pages. I'm sure the second book will explore the characters and the magical elements more throughly.

Can't wait to get my hands on Namesake!

A book about diving and ships that’s infused with more than its fair share of political complications? Yea I’ll read that.
