This book was a really good read.
It's really really fast burn and insta love.
Angie inherits the manor of her recently deceased and unknown great uncle Alfred.
But it's not a simple manor she is meant to keep the rif safe so demons can't wreck havock.

Gargoyles come alive at night and became steamy hot

I love a good Gargoyle story!! y’all are amazing story tellers and I loved this book! Please tell me we might get to see what happens to Kenzie after that ending?!? That was probably the best ending I’ve ever read! I was dying of laughter! I love Enzo! He’s probably my favorite of Angie’s men lol. Such a wonderful book!!

Holy hell there is a LOT of smexy scenes in this book.

So I read this book based off the blurb by the time I got to chapter 3 we were already getting down and dirty! Like I would say this book is 70% bedroom antics and they are

Darkmoor Manor is a standalone novel by Jenn D. Young and Aspen Black. This paranormal romance novel takes a female main character and has her life get turned upside down. One day she’s just a regular human living her regular life, and then the next thing she knows she’s been pronounced the heir to an old castle finding herself the mate of four gargoyles.
I’m an avid fan of paranormal romance novels, but I really feel that this book moves too fast in the “romance” department. Honestly, this book reads borderline erotica with the amount of steamy in this book and how quickly it all happens. Angie is an okay character. She’s not what I was expecting. She’s a bit meek, and I think that she should have been a bit more “spicy” to liven things up when it comes to her character’s personality. I also don’t like that she “passes out” quite a bit. I’m sorry, but it makes her look weak and frail.
I loved the steamy scenes, but I wanted the story to be more focused on the actual plot. Steamy is all well and good, but it also has its place and that shouldn’t overtake the storyline itself. It just seemed like every few pages here comes a steamy scene which took away from the story. You honestly can’t call this book a “romance” because there really isn’t any development in that arena. It’s more like “insta everything” which is disappointing. I wanted some growth.
This book is classified as a “standalone” but the ending really has me questioning that. I’m thinking that we’ll probably be seeing these characters again – sooner rather than later.
If you love books packed with steamy scenes, insta-mates, insta-lust (little romance development), then you’ll probably enjoy this book. If you prefer books with a more focused storyline throughout and actual romantic development then this might not be a book you’d enjoy to the fullest. I really wanted to like this book, but it ends up falling short for me. Great steamy scenes, just needed more depth. I’m rating this book 3.5 out of 5 stars.

First things first the cover as usual is gorgeous.

Now onto the juicy bits, why oh why can't I have an uncle Alfred I mean why meeeeee.

Angie omg she is a girl after my own heart, nothing beats getting lost in a book and I mean nothing.

The guys oh my gosh I can't even tell you which one I preferred I loved gregori he is such a brooding alpha, stryga omg he made me smile alot even if he was a grump, ruarak is such a beaut and then there was baroque the sweetheart but ok I lied my fav had to be Enzo, actually nope can't make a fav they are all mine lol

Really did love this book hope to read a standalone about Lucifer and Kenzie and there little romance.
