After finishing the first book in the trilogy, The Difference Between Somebody and Someone, I was on the edge of my seat for the second book. With the second book, The Difference Between Somehow and Someway, author Aly Martinez crafted yet another installment that left me on the edge of my seat again! This book alternates between past and present chapters to give us some more insight about the events that led up to the first book. As I neared the end of the book, I figured Martinez would again knock my socks off with another cliffhanger, but I was not prepared for this twist. I honestly thought I knew what was coming, but I was so wrong! My anticipation is so high for book 3 and I can't wait to see how she ties it all together with a satisfying ending, as I know she will.

This is okay, not as good as book 1.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Cliffhanger ending.
I really feel this could have been a duet not a trilogy.

Sigh, another excellent book with another epic cliffhanger. Picking up from where we left off in the first book, Remi and Bowen were continuing to grow their relationship. Bowen knows the secrets of the past and Remi stumbles upon some that were hidden away. Remi’s life completely implodes, leaving her lost and not knowing who to trust. It just completely breaks your heart for literally EVERYONE involved. And then to have a completely different twist come in at the end…. PHEW! I need the 3rd book to come out, like yesterday.

Aly Martinez is the better version of CoHo. There I said it.

the beginning fell flat for me because i was so anxious for things to start happening. once they did i was hooked. how did this series surprise me yet again? usually i am three steps ahead but not today. it’s so much fun.

i honestly didn’t think i would pick up book three but now i have to. i am dying to see how this all plays out.

Bowen & Remi - book 2, third book releases March 2022

I don’t even know where to start with this book. There is a lot that happened between books 1&2. Book starts with Bowen POV on the plane with Remi. There was a crash and now they aren’t together. The whole time I believed “Sally” was dead, until it’s revealed sally is Remi.

After the crash, Remi lives with her 2 best friends, Aaron and Mark who she has known for years. There’s a court settlement Aaron, Remi, and Bowen have to go to for the plane crash. There, Remi meets Bowen for the first time, or so she thinks.
