Guessed a number, do not care.
I don't have time to waste on people who don't have time to educate themselves and would rather post about something they saw in a pretty post than do their own research.

Very slow paced first book, intrigued to see where the next books go in the series.

What did I just read... talk about an unravelling story. All that, for that ending? It's a shame because the premise is good but there isn't enough plot scaffolding to hold it together.

DNF maybe about 30% of the way through - idk, this one was rough. There's too many POVs and not much development at all. No world building whatsoever. It was just so uninteresting and I felt myself dreading reading it.

Okay — *deep breath*

What. In. The. Actual. Fuck. This book was MIND BLOWING. I LOVED trying to figure out this cluster-fuck of a puzzle.

The lengthy analogies were sometimes boring, as I had a hard time wrapping my mind around the things the characters were discussing. Other times, I was captivated and couldn’t get enough. (Honestly, it was probably depending on where my own head was at the moment)

Huge twist at the end. Totally thought it was going to be for a different reason.. Olivie Blake is an extremely talented writer.

4/5 stars because it took a ton of mental effort to read — beautiful written, lovely flowing words that turned into graceful sentences. But, my ADHD brain had some issues staying on task with the complexity of it at times.
