I am pleasantly surprised how well written this book is. My only nitpick is that Red Sonja only appears on the last page. I'm sure she will have more of a presence next issue, though!

I've only read a few comics featuring Vampirella (all crossovers) but I'm intrigued by this one - using Soviet space experiments in 1969 as a hook seems like something wtih a lot of potential. On a minor downward note, reading white text in black boxes in a digital comic on a platform that doesn't have frame-by-frame options (so anything other than Comixology) is a serious pain in the backside.
