Twisted twin sisters play not-so-clever mind games, everybody loses. Not half as fun as you'd think. A campier V.C. Andrews type version might have worked better for me, beacause this one expects you to take it seriously, and that I can't do.

3.5 stars. I liked the story but I gets marked down a half star because I was able to guess the ending.

DNF'd at page 66. It just didn't catch my attention and I'm not too attracted to the plot of "I want everything my twin has so I'm going to sleep with her crush and try to ruin her life". Just a huge cliche of sibling rivalry

The communication between the sisters--a crucial part of the tale--was always arch and started to put my teeth on edge.  Sometimes mannered stuff can go over the line, and this one did.

There are several reviews that talk about how dysfunctional and detestable all of the characters are, but I really liked and related to Ava. What does that say about me?

Thoroughly enjoyed this as a slow-burning, character-driven mystery. Perfect for every procrastinating graduate student.

I started it and put it down for a little bit because I was sick of the main character. Decided to pick it back up today and read the last 150 or so pages. A decent read. The main character wasn't my favorite, but I was intrigued and wanted to know what happened to the sister. I'm decently satisfied with how it ended. I'd pick up another book by this author in the future.
