I'd never heard of this series before being approached to review this book, but if this story is anything to go by, I'll be hunting up the rest of the series to check out. My biggest complaint about this was that it didn't give a lot of backstory on what had happened previously, so it was a little unapproachable for me as a new reader to the series. I did enjoy the author's writing style, so I consider it a worthy summer beach read!
